Kids say the darndest

things...

This is a post dedicated to the cute things the kids say so I can remember them forever and ever. It will be updated accordingly ;)

Luke (ie Lupa chalupa)

Luke told me I made him the "most delicious dinner ever" which I loved to hear even though technically it was Daddy who make a chicken nacho dip with tortillas on the side.

Luke likes to "boom-bash" things - which can mean anything from throwing leaves in the air to jumping up and down on the floor

Fun words (as phonetically as possible)

hook = cell phone/tv towers or electrical poles
malanky = banana
baa - lay = blanket
wing nuts = necklace
hamma - burger = hamburger

Logan (ie Bobo)

Not too much in the way of actual words going on here as of yet (Feb 09) but he is definitely discovering the power of baby blabber

March 09

After I wrote that there was not much for Logan he came out with a slew of words. The first was Mommy which he steadfastly refused to utter until this time. Well, now it is all he says "Maamy maamy" it is cute. He is also saying a lot of other words too like Cheshy (Chevy the dog), ready, set go, he counts and sings and much more. Definitely a little chatter box now :)

April 09

horsey is a constant uttering/shriek around here now

shlug = plug (pacifier)
anky = purple blankie

He also says show also as in TV show oops :)

Summer 09

hunhy = hungry
Glooky = Lukey

There are a lot of "G" sounds in Logan's world.

He is an excellent singer and is really starting to communicate well.

Winterfest

For Valentine's morning this year, we went up to a small ski area called Sipapu for their annual winterfest. They had an ice castle for climbing and sliding. It was cold but the small ones had a lot of fun climbing around. They got heart-shaped balloons and ran from the big wildcat mascot.
