Cupid's Chase 5k
Well, I am in process of training for a half-marathon. I don't know what I was thinking but I am committed at this point and part of it was running a 5k practice race. So, despite a stomach bug, we headed to ABQ for a race. Here is the story in pics as taken by Fred.

It ended up being over 5k by about .7 miles but I was gld I did it. It looks like maybe I won it being the only one in the picture and all, but, alas, I did not win. We left right after I came in; we had a busy day ahead...because of this, Lukey asked me, "Why did you come in last Mommy?" I explained to him that although it looked like I was last (he had been watching all the people who came in before me) I was not and there were LOTS of people behind Mommy. My little cheerleaders are the best part of the finish. Stay tuned, hopefully, for the goal race in April.

With winter comes snow and...
SKIING!
Lukey's first time hitting the slopes (Grammy style) Ah, we can see the family ski trips already. He did amazing and was very into his lesson from Grams
Hands on knees, butt down, and got it!
On a side note, Mom and I have been having an amazing ski year with a weekly trip to the slopes and sometimes more. The snow has been great and the company better! I even got out with some friends a couple times and managed to get 2 photos (better then nothing right?)

Happy Tenth!
Fred and I have been together for a decade and we celebrated by going back to Sunriver resort where we had our honeymoon. It was a very quick weekend trip but we managed to eat at all our favorite spots...Super Burrito, Pilot Butte Drive-in, Baja Fresh, etc.
We had to then work a bit of it off with a quick trip to the top of the butte which produced the following photos
PS I also got a really amazing diamond and emerald ring from my favorite store Pave! Thanks Fred!
